Syria: Arab League observers in Homs – People call for more army

Some Western and Gulf media publish article within the context that the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had the tanks of “his” Syrian army surrounding the city of Homs pulled back, while the corpses lying on the streets were picked up to conceal the violence of the Syrian security forces and soldiers against “peaceful protesters”.

Also Syrian prisons have been emptied and other tanks should be hidden within buildings and even within normal houses. Just to cover the violence and crime of the Syrian army against normal civilians and in order to conceal these crimes from the Arab League (AL) observer mission.

But all this staging apparently turned out to be somehow  insufficient in view of the 70,000 people of the Syrian city Homs, who allegedly flocked the streets  to welcome the observers of the Arab League (AL) by demonstrating at al-Saa Square against the Syrian regime and President al-Assad – the Western and Gulf media said, based on the information of the one-man “Muslim Brotherhood”-show based in London and other questionable sources, that this huge crowd could only to be dispersed with tear gas.

Syria: Arab League observers reached Homs

The day before yesterday about 50 experts from different countries arrived in the Syrian capital of Damascus. The majorities of these experts have either a military background or come from security related positions. Most are from Egypt. Nevertheless, the other Arab countries are represented and the Head of Delegation, the Sudanese General al-Dabi, already arrived in Syria last Sunday evening.

According to CNN, a team of ten should be going to Homs today in order to provide an overview of the local situation which, according to the Centre in London and the Syrian National Council, is repeatedly classified as disastrous.

There are many in Homs who opposes the regime in Damascus. Many gunmen there are roaming the streets, harassing and endangering the safety of the residents.

Many residents have already fled Homs, fearing not to be shot by the army but of being caught in the cross fire or being shot by the gunmen. The many city residents who have fled tell of very young and also old men running through the streets with guns and shooting anything that moves.

The Baba Amro district (Homs) in particular is full of armed men and its residents are the biggest opponents of the regime.

Syria: Thierry Meyssan about the situation in Homs

The French Thierry journalist Thierry Meyssan, who is also the founder and chairman of Voltaire Network, is still in Syria and published another article about the situation in this country of the Middle East. Meyssan also gave a new video interview by Skype and talked about the regional interests and how indispensable Syria is to Russia.

In his next contribution out of Syria, Thierry Meyssan also explained why the humanitarian military intervention model of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) does not work in Syria as it has been already tested in countries like Yugoslavia and more recently Libya.

The French founder and chairman of Voltaire Net is convinced that the NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) is forced to rewrite its humanitarian military intervention model for Syria. It is said that it will now adopt the same tactics / strategy that was used in Iraq. This means – besiege the country, in defiance of the population and try to weaken it sufficiently for the next assault.

Syria: Violent clashes and idyllic landscapes

The German book author and freelance journalist Karin Leukefeld, based in Damascus, is known for her reports about Middle Eastern countries and her coverage of events and daily situations which are sometimes in a small contrast to the mainstream opinions.

Leukefeld wrote on her personal homepage that she is focused on the “Life behind the Headlines” and shows this attitude clearly after the first peaceful demonstrations in Syria were misused by armed radicals and extremists who are said to be supported by abroad with money and weapons.

Her latest article is about her journey to the northwest of Syria and especially about the situation in the city of Homs. After the tough sanctions against Syria by the Arab League (AL) and the allegedly killed opposition activists by government forces in the night to Tuesday it is sure no normal trip for a foreign journalist like Karin Leukefeld. According to the opposition civilians and armed people are repeatedly killed in Homs.

American journalist Webster Tarpley in Syria

After the American author and journalist Webster Tarpley has been in Homs and spoke with the Russian television channel RussiaToday (RT) about the real situation in Syria the lecturer and critic of the foreign policy of America attended a gathering for the government in the Syrian capital Damascus on Sunday, November 20.

Together with the French Blogger Marc George (Media Libre) and a Russian delegation the known author Webster Tarpley not only had the chance to see a huge gathering in Damascus, he also had the chance to speak some words to the Syrian people who protested against any international interference in Syria and the decision of the Arab League to “temporarily exclude” the country Syria.

The Syrian people also showed they favor for their Syrian government and President Bashar al-Assad on this day. Despite they were not paid or really forced to do so. Webster Tarpley not only recognized on his journey through Syria that the real situation in this country is different to the western propaganda and media reports but also confirmed the existence of armed and violent gangs who rather raise the apparent to be religious extremists.

Syria: Allegations of a nuclear program is not off the table

What else should come in the imperialist war against Syria? They tried to starve the country and to push Syria into a civil war by continuously meddling from outside in the internal affairs of the Syrian state. The sanctions imposed by the United States of America and Europe are tightened again but they still seem to be not enough and finally insufficient for the West. They are only hitting the Syrian population which suffers of these sanctions more and more.

It is also hypocritical to speak about helping the Syrian population with sanctions and a freedom of everything while you can`t download Google Chrome or use other services in Syria because of the old and new sanctions. Despite some false reports from CNN it is still no problem to use something like Skype in Syria. The youth of Syria and even older Syrians are using Skype often.

But this report by CNN is again based on unconfirmed and not verified sources – nothing new looking at the last 9 months of propaganda against the Syrian government and to prepare the Western people for a second Libya. Once again based on strange reports, dubious people and unconfirmed propaganda which is sold as facts to the Western population.
