Syria: Arab League observers in Homs – People call for more army

Some Western and Gulf media publish article within the context that the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had the tanks of “his” Syrian army surrounding the city of Homs pulled back, while the corpses lying on the streets were picked up to conceal the violence of the Syrian security forces and soldiers against “peaceful protesters”.

Also Syrian prisons have been emptied and other tanks should be hidden within buildings and even within normal houses. Just to cover the violence and crime of the Syrian army against normal civilians and in order to conceal these crimes from the Arab League (AL) observer mission.

But all this staging apparently turned out to be somehow  insufficient in view of the 70,000 people of the Syrian city Homs, who allegedly flocked the streets  to welcome the observers of the Arab League (AL) by demonstrating at al-Saa Square against the Syrian regime and President al-Assad – the Western and Gulf media said, based on the information of the one-man “Muslim Brotherhood”-show based in London and other questionable sources, that this huge crowd could only to be dispersed with tear gas.

According to this information it is no surprise that the Gulf and Western media are again questioning the credibility of the Arab League (AL) observers because these observers within Syria seem to have failed so far to endorse the version of events within Syria with the version of the dubious sources of the so-called journalists.

If these Arab League (AL) observers would share the same stories about the events in Syria like the “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights”, based in London, the media would sure have no questions about their credibility.

Finally they turn around the facts. These media outlets and so-called journalists should rather questioning this one-man show within London and other so-called activists and also search for information about their connections and background instead of asking about the credibility of the Arab League (AL) observers.

Of course, not to mention that the leader of this observer mission to Syria is really a questionable person and maybe responsible for a lot of deaths – but the Western and Gulf media was pleased with him as long as he was in line with their image of the events within Syria. We still think that the word “hypocrite” fits to this way of journalism very well.

It is also still a good question how so-called journalist and activists in London, Paris, Berlin, Washington, Riyadh and some other Western and Gulf cities pretend to know better what is happening in the Syrian city of Homs than the observers of the Arab League (AL) who traveled to Syria to observe on the spot and visited Homs already.

Not to mention some independent journalists, travelers, tourists and activists which share the same stories about the events within Syria as the observers of the Arab League (AL). And these people also have been to Syria in the recent weeks and months.

But when German and British state TV celebrates the Muslim Brotherhood-activists and Salafists as new “democratic, peaceful rebels” – you know, that there is something really strange going on.

It is still unclear if these Western journalists are not able to recognize that they celebrate and interview members of the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafiyah (Salafists) or if they even know about and just do not mention it – although it is obvious for the people with knowledge about such things.

The readers and viewers of such articles and reportages should be perplexed about this sold information when it comes to the questionable sources about the situation within Syria and the image of people who have been there – which is in contrast to the image Western and Gulf media are selling it. A lot of journalists miss the dogmas of journalism nowadays and they even know about this lack of honor – but just do not care. Who should really sue them?

You would have to sue Amnesty International (AI) and Human Rights Watch (HRW), too… and so on. Free press seems to include the freedom to write a lot of BS – without regressions, even it`s far away from journalism and the reality of events or this stuff are just propaganda lies.

And back to Homs. In contrast to the Western and Gulf reports about the vision of a rally against the government and President al-Assad with about 70,000 protesters, we saw indeed a huge demonstration in the center of Homs which was on the one hand welcoming the Arab League (AL) observers, but also on the other hand calling on the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to take action against the armed extremists, gangs and religious fanatics who are terrorizing the city.

Some even called for Maher al-Assad to take control about the actions against the armed fanatics and criminals within Homs. Maher al-Assad is known as a tougher and more violent person than the President Bashar al-Assad – some people of Homs already have the opinion that Bashar al-Assad is a too indulgent person for “this job” and already let them down when it comes to the terror of these armed gangs – and not only some people of the Syrian city Homs..

The crowd in al-Saa Square (Homs) held portraits of President Bashar al-Assad and Syrian flags, and did not appear to be suffering from the effects of tear gas because there have been no tear gas – just within the imaginations of the questionable sources based in London, Berlin, Washington and Paris – or in same Gulf countries as well, of course.
