Today, RIM (Research in Motion) has finally announced that a big launch event for BlackBerry 10 will happen on 30th January 2013 and the company will present the first two devices with BlackBerry 10 there.

This presentation of BlackBerry 10 by RIM will take place simultaneously in several places in this world and beside the information about the new OS, RIM also wants to deliver all details of the first new BlackBerry smartphones with this new operation system by them.

While Android (Google), iOS (Apple) and Windows Phone (Microsoft) are strong opponents for RIM and its Blackberry System, the introduction of BlackBerry 10 is truly an interesting event that people will sure not miss in January next year.

It should be also interesting how big the distance will be between the presentation of the new RIM smartphones with BlackBerry 10 and the first delivery to customers. One can only hope that it will not last too long till the customers is able to receive the first new RIM smartphones with this new interesting BlackBerry version.

The timing of this announcement by RIM is a bit unusual because, after all, there are still two more months till the event will take place and it is still a long time. But it seems that RIM and BlackBerry 10 needs some attention. No surprise, considering the tough competition by Android, Windows Phone and, of course, by the iPhone (iOS) from Apple.
