On Sunday evening, the first experts of the so-called UN “advance team” arrived in the Syrian capital Damascus.

These military experts of the United Nations (UN) want to start their work as soon as possible in Syria, which means that they will travel to the so-called strongholds there and try to make sure that the six-point plan by Kofi Annan will be really implemented in its fullness and that the regular troops of the Syrian army are withdrawn and that the heavy weapons disappear from the Syrian cities.

Today, there is first a meeting between the members of the “advance team” and the Syrian government in Damascus, in order to discuss the operation. The other members of the UN “advance team” will also arrive as soon as possible in Syria. An Indian officer is leading this team of military experts and observers.

When the team has reached the withdrawal, blue helmets of the United Nations (UN) will ensure that the fragile ceasefire is in fact maintained. Since the beginning of the ceasefire on Thursday, 12.04., violations of the truce were repeatedly reported and it`s already confirmed by our sources in the Syrian city of Homs that the armed opposition forces (e.g. the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA)) has violated the ceasefire yesterday.

Of course, it is said, that there are also dead since the beginning of the truce in Syria. To what extent this information is correct and which side broke the ceasefire first, cannot be determined exactly, but it is, as stated, confirmed that the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) has shelled a district of Homs yesterday – without that these armed groups were first attacked by regular Syrian troops. For all other accusations and assertions, there is often a lack of objective evidence about it.

That the cell phone videos, which are posted on the Internet, are not necessarily trusted sources, one should have learned slowly but surely; except the typical journalists of some Western editorial offices, who should actually know it better.

Nevertheless, Western media, especially in France and Germany, stick to the dubious reports and sources. They still use the questionable two-man show in London, the “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” (SOHR), which is nothing more than an office of the Muslim Brotherhood and a useful propaganda tool for dubious intentions, without any credibility and their false information were unmasked too often in the last months.

This does not matter, because as mentioned, it`s a useful source, even some Western journalists sure know that these information of this “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” (SOHR), based in London, are far away from being credible.

Before the so-called Blue Helmets, a group of a total of about 250 observers, will arrive in Syria, a spokeswoman for the Syrian government in Damascus has said, that the Syrian government reserves its rights to reject UN peacekeepers from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar and France, what seems logically after the recent months.

These countries are clearly on the side of the armed opposition forces and these Western governments, which also include Germany and Britain, demand the overthrow of the Syrian President al-Assad and the Syrian government bluntly. Until now, an answer to this statement of the Syrian government was not yet announced. but the United Nations (UN) will accept this request of the Syrian government in Damascus because they are not interested to risk that Syria will otherwise withdraw its commitment to the deployment of Blue Helmets, if that`s really possible.

Though both the Syrian government and the external opposition have agreed to the six-point plan by Kofi Annan, it is far from clear whether and how this “peace plan” for Syria will be implemented. Not to mention that the armed opposition forces have not only violated the truce in Syria yesterday, but also in the days before, already after the beginning of the ceasefire in Syria.

After all, the Islamist “Syrian National Council” (SNC) in Istanbul has announced several times, not to sit at a table with the Syrian government and to negotiate with them. The dubious heads of the “Syrian National Council” (SNC) have always rejected any offers for negotiations which could have led to diplomatic and peaceful solutions for the Syrian people.

The internal Syrian opposition was more or less completely overrun by the dubious exile-Syrian opposition in Turkey and forced into a corner. Until now it does not look like the internal Syrian opposition is able to leave this corner. Of course, parts of the internal opposition were also silenced by the sides which support the questionable external opposition in Istanbul.

That`s a sad fact because precisely the internal Syrian opposition is willing to negotiate with the Syrian government in Damascus and to start a political dialogue to solve all the chaos and problems. The internal Syrian opposition cares about the Syrian population, in contrast to the external Islamists in Istanbul.

The “Syrian National Council” (SNC) in Turkey is called an Islamist “council” because not only the huge majority of this “council” are Islamists, which is confirmed by members of the opposition and e.g. Reuter, but also the dubious head of this “SNC”, Ghalioun, was “elected” for this job by the Muslim Brotherhood. Not to mention that the new phrase in the West about “moderate Islamists” and a “moderate Muslim Brotherhood” is nothing more than a fairy tale.

While a lot of sides are trying to implement the ceasefire in Syria and to overcome the fragility, and the questions remain whether some Western governments and Gulf States are really interested in a stable truce and diplomatic negotiations, the German authorities are investigating the allegedly delivery of weapons to the Syrian government. The whole incident, which is known since Friday night, employs the German authorities.

Of course, the question remains whether the German authorities are really interested to investigate this or are just interested to cover up what should not have been leaked. Allegedly, an Iranian freighter, the “Atlantic Cruiser” has loaded weapons in Djibouti, which were allegedly determined for the Syrian port of Tartus (Tartous).

An allegedly defector from the Syrian government has noticed this and he informed the responsible authorities. Afterwards, the “Atlantic Cruiser” has stopped its way to Tartus (Tartous) and veered slightly. What is actually true in this story cannot be said yet. A lot of details about this arms delivery to Syria are still masked and obscure. It is truly questionable whether the truth will ever come to light about this.

Equally questionable is whether an arms embargo has been breached. Although Germany has signed the arms embargo against Syria, the ship, the “Atlantic Cruiser”, was chartered by a Ukrainian company. Iran has not agreed on the arms embargo of Europe, inasmuch it is no violation of this embargo by Iran. Now, one has to wait what might come to the surface in the end.

Of course, even then it is hard to say if the information about this arms delivery will be the truth or just a useful representation, in order to cover up “bad habits” of e.g. the German government or German companies.

Syria is still the center of attention and the West is, together with some Gulf States like Qatar and Saudi Arabia, absolutely interested in a so-called “regime change” in Syria, which includes the destabilization of Syria.

Even when the current situation will be resolved and the chaos and violence will decrease, what is to hope, the West will never stop trying to implement this “regime change” to put a “puppet government” in power.
