Syria: A almost complete list of all martyrs (soldiers, police) in February

A list of martyrs in February, which means, that`s a list of all police men, security personal and Syrian soldiers who have lost their lives because of the armed insurgents, radicals and religious extremists within Syria. Not to mention the threat of Iraqi jihadists, al-Qaeda fighters and Libyan mercenaries. Two Syrian civilians are also mentioned in this sad list of all murdered Syrians.

The two killed Syrian civilians in this sad list are Ramadan Mahmoud Mahmoud and Sheik Ahmad Sadeq, who was the Imam of the Anas-bin-Malek-Mosque in the Syrian capital Damascus.

All these Syrian people have lost their lives and the so-called Syrian opposition, based in Istanbul, still rejects any dialogues for a peaceful solution. Instead, the so-called “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) kills Syrian soldiers, opponents and also civilians.

Thank you for the effort in putting together this information for all of us.
Is there any other lists documenting the martyrs in a monthly report similar to those two prior to January so we can share them?

    Thank you

  2. Parviziyi says:

Your list for February is not correct. For example, 3 soldiers were buried on Sunday 5 Feb 2012 which you don’t list at all — see http://www.sana.sy/eng/21/2012/02/05/398527.htm . The list of the security forces men you give for the date 7 Feb 2012 were actually buried on Monday 6 Feb 2012 — see http://www.sana.sy/eng/337/2012/02/06/398839.htm . Your list has many other errors. Your list is based on what has been published at SANA. I assume what has been published at SANA is correct. The problem with your list is that your list does not properly reflect what has been published at SANA.
