Syria: Syrian rebel stronghold Baba Amr under control of the army

Some parts of the Syrian city of Homs were under siege by the so-called “Free Syrian Army”; headquarter of the “FSA” was the district Baba Amr until yesterday. Baba Amr (Baba Amro) – a district of the Syrian city of Homs, which was avoided by the most inhabitants of Homs already before the outbreak of conflicts.

The district of Baba Amr was widely known as a so-called “problem area”, that you better should avoid, especially at night. Baba Amr was under control of the questionable “Free Syrian Army” (FSA), many civilians left their homes and retreated to their land in nearby villages, already months ago.

The situation was getting worse in and around the district of Baba Amr (Baba Amro), kidnapping, murder, rape and violence were commonplace there since the outbreak of the so-called “uprising”. This “uprising” is still sold as a part of a so-called “Arab Spring”, but it`s finally clear and true that it`s more an “Islamistic takeover” than a real awakening of the Arab world.

Not only Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are to blame, but also the United States, NATO and some European governments. However, this violence was rarely increased by the soldiers of the regular Syrian army rather than by the army of these deserters.

Not to mention that the amount of deserters from the Syrian army is still overrated in the Western media – for propaganda purposes. Parts of this “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) are also criminals, religious extremists and foreign mercenaries. We should also mention the Iraqi jihadists and Libyan fighters, which are already in Syria to fight against the Syrian army and government. But they are also a threat for every Syrian civilian.

How would a European government react when gunmen occupy a district of a big city and try to drag it from the responsibility of the government by force and chaos? Remembering the “OWS” movement, the protests in Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal, it seems clear that these governments would react, at least, the same way the Syrian government does.

No European government wants religious fanatics with weapons in their own country. But some seem to favor and celebrate those religious extremists in other countries currently. The diplomatic path to solve this chaos and crisis in Syria was barricaded early.

The so-called Syrian “opposition” abroad, e.g. based in Istanbul, showed never the intentions for a diplomatic and peaceful solution. These dubious members with their Western passports have always rejected any talks with the Syrian government and President Bashar al-Assad.

Some of these members of e.g. the non-legitimated “Syrian National Council” (SNC – similar to Libyan National Transitional Council..) are also supporting the arming of the opposition fighters in Syria. Some also favor a military intervention in Syria; despite they know about the outcome of the NATO war (“No-Fly Zone”) in Libya. All this is truly to put into questions.

The stalled dialogue, which has been convened by the Syrian government at the beginning of this conflict in Syria, showed the true intentions of these “opposition” in Istanbul, Paris, London, Berlin and Washington.

They were never interested in a peaceful solution for the Syrian population. They even never really cared about the population. They just used such phrases for propaganda purposes. The dubious head of the “Syrian National Council” (SNC), Ghalioun, and his followers in Istanbul were never interested in negotiations to solve all the problems diplomatically and peacefully.

They are only interested to overthrow the Syrian government and President Bashar al-Assad. Very democratic. But considering that this “Council” in Turkey was also not democratically elected.. No surprise.

The opposition forces in Syria and the “Syrian National Council” (SNC), based in Turkey, have really never cared about the opposition within Syria. The members of the opposition, within and outside Syria, who relied on negotiations, quickly lost their significance (if they ever had one for this “opposition” in Istanbul).

All that, what has been fulfilled by the Syrian government and President al-Assad, was declared as null and void by this opposition abroad – without any hesitation. The “opposition in Istanbul” was never interested in a dialogue and a politically solution. The Syrian opposition is divided. The “Syrian National Council” (SNC) is fragmented and divided, too.

This so-called “Syrian National Council” isn`t interested in a real democracy for Syria, they are interested in power and influence. The French head of this dubious “Council”, similar to the dubious Libyan role model (NTC), Ghalioun has announced the set-up of a military council after the last events in Syria, ie the defeat of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) in Baba Amr.

But even the Turkish government isn`t really happy about the set-up of a military council in Istanbul. Not to mention that more and more Turkish civilians realize the lies and propaganda of their own government and start to support the Syrian government and president al-Assad. The Turkish policy about Syria seems to be far away from the opinions of the Turkish civilians about the “events” in Syria.

This military council is said to prevent chaos and not to stir up a civil war in Syria. This is another claim just for propaganda purposes. The strategy and intention is clear. Every normal human is able to realize the true intentions of such a military council. So the question remains: why are Western journalists not able to? Willfully tools for propaganda purposes?

This military council within Istanbul cares about the arming of the opposition forces in Syria and tries to get more support from Western countries – funds, weapons and so on. The Syrian “opposition” (can we really call them a real opposition?) in Istanbul wants to fight, wants a military intervention and they don`t care about the Syrian civilians, the violence and the country, Syria.

They`re selfish, dubious and some are even members of radical organizations, of which are some known as terrorist organizations in some European countries. The military council distributes the weapons, which they receive mainly by the Gulf States, to the members of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA).

This military council should care about the fact that all these weapons have no chance to finally land in the hands of militias, which cannot be controlled – just like it is in Libya at the moment. So, this military council cares about the fears of the AIPAC-Darling Hillary Clinton (e.g. al-Qaeda in Syria).

Hillary Clinton and Ghalioun seem to have learned from the (NATO / U.S.) mistakes of the Libyan model. The only question is whether this new plan about this military council will be successful. In Libya, the so-called “Libyan National Transitional Council” has no control about the armed militias. Libya slides into a civil war and Western media still tries to cover the truth about the recent months and actual developments in this country after NATO-rebels have killed the former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi (Qaddafi).

The former stronghold of the questionable uprising in Homs, Baba Amr, has been occupied / freed by the regular Syrian army yesterday. Depending on sources, it`s reported that the armed insurgents were defeated or that they have retreated.

For example, the German audience of the evening news by the German state TV channel ARD was again influenced in their opinion yesterday. ARD broadcasted quite dramatically that the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) had to withdraw because they wanted to protect the remaining civilians in Baba Amr and also because they ran out of ammunition and weapons. With a dramatically voice and questionable method of journalism, ARD tried to influence the opinion of the audience.

Maybe the office of this German state TV tries to influence the opinion of the German population, so that the German civilians have nothing against the arming of the “rebels” in Syria. As a duty, with the order by… the German government? The Syrian stations reported that many of the armed fighters were arrested or killed in battle. But also many of them were able to flee to Turkey.

According to the Syrian authorities, Baba Amr is now up to 90% under the control of the Syrian army. When this area of the Syrian city of Homs is completely secured, the International Red Cross and the Syrian half-moon are allowed to enter the district to treat the injured.

In the past week, the International Red Cross was able to go to Homs first time, at least to care about some injured and to help them to get out of this dangerous area. While Western media has reported that the Syrian government in the capital Damascus is not willing to agree to a ceasefire, it was also reported, however, that the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) neither was willing to agree to a ceasefire and also had no interest to allow the members of the International Red Cross to enter Baba Amr (Baba Amro).

Not to mention that the Syrian government always offered negotiations, which were always rejected by the so-called Syrian “opposition”, based in Istanbul.

It`s still the fact that these reports of deaths and injured are often delivered by the same questionable source. The “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights”, based in London. While Voltaire Network calls this “Observatory” an office of the Muslim Brotherhood, Moscow also unmasked this two-man show in London last week.

A propaganda tool for the purposes of Western governments and the Muslim Brotherhood. Useful for Western media which never put the information of this source into question. Investigative journalism is a fairy tale. Abdul Rahman in a clothing store or snack shop.

He allegedly fled in the year 2000. But Abdul Rahman is a farce. It`s not even clear how many Rahman`s are out there. No surprise that Russia has unmasked this “Observatory” finally last week. The media is sure to blame for the bad interpretation of journalism. All the information is not verifiable and the Western media never has intentions to check them. Many agencies just use the easiest method: copy & paste, including a great headline. If you blame the Syrian government for propaganda, how should we call these Western journalists? Propaganda tools of… ..NATO? USA? Free press and a real journalism are a difference to the behavior of these journalists.

If the Syrian government is accused for propaganda, one can also accuse all the members of the opposition abroad and also these journalists for propaganda. Who can guarantee you that the dead civilians, not fighters and civilians always really the outdoor Syrian army or were criminals who were arming themselves?

The main message is that many civilians caught in the crossfire and died. At her death, however, are clearly not only the government and the regular army to blame. Many civilians were abused in the struggle of the violent “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) against the Syrian government and this is still continued, even now.

On Thursday, 37 of 47 Member States of the United Nation Human Rights Council (UNHR) condemned the violence in Syria – but they didn`t mention the violence by the members of the “Free Syrian Army” (FSA) or the Iraqi jihadists and Libyan mercenaries (also foreign mercenaries) in Syria. Russia, China and Cuba voted clearly against this.

Three states abstained and four states even didn`t take part in the vote. The U.S. is now working on a new resolution against Syria. The Gulf States are raging about the disagreement between the Western councils and their reluctance of arming the opposition forces in Syria.

As if some of these Western governments wouldn`t do this already. The Gulf States want a fight and to arm the violent forces within Syria. Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain – allies of the United States – wants to spread their influence and radical religious stance. The Alawites and Christians should be killed; Syria should become a real Islamic state with Sharia law.

It is also unclear whether the weapons will be accepted by the Sunni monarchies. It`s a good sign that even the dubious head of the so-called “Syrian National Council” (SNC), who wants to be a friend of Israel, has also first doubts about the real interests of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Ghalioun, a joke but sold as head of this “opposition” section, based in Istanbul, sure knows more than he speaks about the intentions of Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Of course, the huge majority of the Syrian population would never accept him as a minister or even as head of Syria. This is a fact which the French guy Ghalioun also should know.

In Tunisia, Libya and Egypt, the effects of the oil monarchies are clearly noticeable and more evident.

Kofi Annan, who was appointed as special envoy to Syria, met already with the Secretary General of the Arab League, Nabil al-Arabi, in Cairo. Al-Arabi remains committed to a political solution and sets the hopes on Kofi Annan. But the agenda of Kofi Annan is unclear. It`s not yet known when Kofi Annan will travel to the Syrian capital Damascus.

It`s also unclear if Annan meets with the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad or whether Kofi Annan really wants a peaceful solution.

Let`s hope that Kofi Annan is a real man who doesn`t act as another puppet of questionable Western intentions and dubious U.S. goals.
