The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Luis Moreno-Ocampo, said in new statements that there are serious suspicions about the death of Libya’s former dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Luis Moreno-Ocampo means that there are serious suspicions that the death of Muammar Gaddafi may be a war crime. It sounds a bit hypocritically because Moreno-Ocampos should indeed know it better.

The press agency AFP quoted (source) the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Luis Moreno-Ocampo, with this statement to some reporters after he left the briefing with the UN Security Council on Thursday.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo said that the death of the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi is “one of the issues to be clarified” and you don`t need a poke to think about the last statements of Russian premier Vladimir Putin immediately.

It’s more a farce that he also stated, that the International Criminal Court (ICC) asked the interim government of Libya about how the crimes of all sides in the “revolution / uprising” against the murdered Muammar Gaddafi are investigated by them.

It is getting more comical after you read, that Moreno-Ocampo also said that he is going to speak with some member nations of the UN Security Council and ask them if they have evidence about the death of former Libyan leader Gaddafi.

Finally, the chief prosecutor Moreno-Ocampo is convinced that the government of Libya is really interested in solving all these dubious actions because he pointed out that they are working very closely with the Libyan government and that these strange new leaders have to manage a very complex situation. Indeed, the situation is complex and it would be nice to hear the truth from some people of NATO and UN.

After eight months of this so-called “uprising” in Libya, the somehow supported and celebrated “rebels” found Muammar Gaddafi alleged hiding inside a sewage pipe in his known hometown Sirte. We all know what those people did horrible to the former leader of Libya.

Sure some still remember the videos which show the former Libyan leader injured but still alive. Gaddafi was surrounded by a mad crowd and was hustled and beaten to the ground several times. Afterwards Gaddafi disappeared in the crackle of gunfire and between the angry riff-raff. Muammar Gaddafi and his slain son Mu`tassim were alleged buried in a hidden location in Libya.

Even if we would consider Moreno-Ocampo as honest and trustworthy, we are still convinced that the truth about the death of Muammar Gaddafi will never become public. Not to forget the last statements of Russian premier Vladimir Putin who blamed the United States that they supported the Libyan rebels in killing Muammar Gaddafi.

Vladimir Putin spoke during a televised Q&A session about the United States, the US intends to dominate other countries and also about the death of Muammar Gaddafi in Moscow on December 15, 2011.

The Russian Prime Minister Putin stated in this Question and Answer-session in Moscow that America intends to dominate other countries and that the entire world is sick and tired of taking orders from the US government in Washington. With a nice hint the Russian premier Putin also said that it sometimes seems to him, that “America does not need allies, it needs vassals”.

Putin pointed out in his other declarations, that Russia once wanted to become an ally of the United States but that these times seem to be over, because he couldn`t see any alliance between Russia and the United States at the moment. Russia`s Prime Minister Putin explained the behavior of US imperialism with the example of the Iraq war in 2003.

He cited that the invasion of Iraq in 2003 showed clearly that USA doesn`t take care about alliances. First they attacked Iraq and then “forced its allies to join the war”.

The Russian premier Putin is clearly not convinced that these behaviors of US Foreign Policy shows a mutual decision-making and also that the responsible people in Washington are interested in alliances and taking care of its allies.
