Not only a new interview with a senior Turkish lawmaker makes it clear that the Western media outlets do not publish the reality what is really happening in Syria but also the last delegations to Syria as the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America and other organizations are telling this. This fits to the statements of others about the situation in Syria in the last months.

The deputy chairperson of Turkey`s opposition party, the Republican People`s Party (CHP), MP Birgul Ayman Guler, told in an new interview that they realized that the Western media “were lying about the situation in Syria” while she was part of a Turkish delegation, including 37 other women, to Syria about a month ago.

In this exclusive interview with the Press TV correspondent in Ankara, Turkey, the senior Turkish lawmaker MP Birgul Ayman Guler also told that they were told by Western media that there was “bloodshed underway” in Syria and that the Syrian authorities, security forces and the President Bashar al-Assad is to blame for it. But while this Turkish delegation, comprised of 38 women have been in Syria one month ago, they realized that the situation is different from what they heard.

MP Birgul Ayman Guler also stated that they did not see “any violence in Syria” and explained also that this Turkish delegation traveled through the Syrian cities Damascus, Latakia and Aleppo during their four-day journey into the neighbor country.

Afterwards the senior Turkish lawmaker and deputy chairperson of Turkey`s main opposition party, the Republican People`s Party (CHP), told Press TV that “fighting was reported only in Hama and Homs” and that the Syrian government forces “were engaged in clashes with groups that had launched attacks” on Syrian security forces and civilians, too.

After the Turkish delegation came back to Turkey they shared the realities there but it seems that this reality wasn`t the truth the Turkish media, government and the international community wanted to hear or spread. Finally the senior Turkish lawmaker told the correspondent in Ankara that “foreign elements (..) are trying to implement a “plot” in Syria”. While this interview she clearly mentioned the European Union and United States of America when she told the Press TV correspondent about this “plot” about Syria.

Also the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America delegation to Syria told similar things when the members came back. In a very long article about their journey to Syria the Archdiocese wrote about that they first received from their Patriarch, the many contacts in Syria and various Metropolitans of the See of Antioch reports that they don`t agree with the published news and articles in Western media. Of course, they also didn`t agree with the reports of Western media stations like Fox News, CNN and others.

They also mentioned the gulf sponsored Arabic news channels like Al-Jazeera which does not deliver the truth about the situation in Syria – as the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America heard about from their contacts. This fits very well to the journey of the Turkish delegation and other delegations to Syria in the last months. Of course, to the press conferences and statements by the Syrian Foreign Minister al-Muallem, too.

The delegation of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America spend three days in Syria (mid-September) and while being there they also had some official visits including a meeting and discussion with the Syrian President Bashar al Assad. They also were able to meet with the Grand Mufti of the Syrian Republic and with opposition members, too.

While you shouldn`t miss the article about the journey to Syria from the the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America it is also to mention that the delegations of Tunisia, Bulgaria and Korea came to the same opinion in the last days and weeks. The Korean Delegation stressed that Syria has the ability to overcome this “foreign conspiracy” while the delegation from Tunisia thinks that this “plot” against Syria is also targeting the Pan-Arab stances.

The delegation from Bulgaria realized the real situation in Syria and came to the same opinion like the senior Turkish lawmaker and the others: the reality of events in Syria is different to what is reported in the West since months.

Meanwhile more Syrian communities worldwide started to condemn the decisions of the Arab League (AL) against Syria. Not only the Syrian community in Italy is against the sanctions and decisions of the Arab League but also the Syrian community in Montreal is not amused by these sanctions of the Arab league. The Syrian community in Montreal supports the reform program of the government in Syria and the community in Italy stated that Syria will overcome this strange “plot” and situation.

Finally the French journalist Allain Jules published a good article about the economic sanctions of the Arab League (AL) against Syria and criticized the members of this league for not imposing such sanctions against Israel which is continually murdering the Palestinians.

The article of the French journalist Allain Jules was published on his website and magazines like “Kamerun Scoop”. The journalist also criticized the call of the Arab League (AL) to Syria to sign the plan that they finally can send a group of 500 observers to Syria. Allain Jules criticized that because the Arab League (AL) is ignoring continuously the killing of Syrian soldiers, security forces and civilians by armed groups.

Further the French journalist also accused the Arab League (AL) that their members attempt to incite civil war and chaos in Syria. Also they are “supporting the gunmen” and are trying to implementing the plans of the West. So this French journalist is indeed thinking the Arab League (AL) became the puppet of Western interests.

Allain Jules is not the only French journalist who speaks clearly about all this. Also his colleague, the French journalist Louis Denghien, is finally no big supporter of the French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his foreign policy.
